For this project I was part of a wider team making a series of Health and Safety e-learning animations for Virtual College.

These animations were designed in an isometric style. I designed some artwork and was also provided with asset packs of isometric assets that I edited to fit the branding.

An isometric approach can look really good and is especially useful for showing specific subject matter like in these videos. You can depict large open spaces and descriptive scenarios with many characters in. However generating isometric artwork can be more time consuming than other approaches. So for these particular animations more attention was paid to static illustrations of characters and objects, changing them to show key movements that we want to bring attention to.
